I can't decide which of these looks better. I like the first one because it looks like it is the evening (it was.) And I like the way it looks with the light in the background. But I like the 2nd one because it shows Grace's face better. so I need opinions. Which do you like best?

The next one is straight out of the camera... no editing.

Baby Scrapbooking and Photoshop in general

I have been working on Gracie's baby book, for ... I'm not sure how long now. But I keep getting getting side tracked. I am no expert in Photoshop so It takes me FOREVER to try and figure out how to do something. I will spend days trying to do 1 simple thing... forgetting about the project that I am working on to begin with. It has been a long time since I completed a page, so I thought I'd post it.

More pictures! These were taken in the Woodlands on Mother's Day. Michael didn't realize I was taking his picture (and wasn't too happy later when he found out.) I love the way they turned out... But then, I am biased on the subject too. = ) I love you Michael!

LOVING the photography class!

I just started my new photography class. I am SO LOVING it! We have learned about f-stops and shutter speed. My favorite is working with the depth of field.

Photoshop projects

Here are a few of the pages that I have been working on for Gracie's baby book. I feel like I am slowing getting the hang of Photoshop, but my problem is the layout of the pages. I am artistically challenged... lol. Anyway.. here they are, please give me honest opinions, before I go spend $50. on a crappy baby book. = )

Changing Plans

I had been planning on going back to college this summer to work on my master's degree. I was really excited about it. Apparently though- James had some concerns about the financial aspect of us both working on our masters at the same time. I guess he was afraid to tell me, because I was so excited about it. So, this weekend he mustered up all his courage and broached the subject. He must have put a lot of thought into it because he had a counter offer all ready for me.



He knows that I have always wanted to get into photography and that I have been toying around with my photoshop a lot lately. SO- he suggested that we invest in a good SLR camera and I take some photography classes.
I am SO excited about this. I can't wait to get started!

I still plan to go back for my masters, but it can wait another year. = )

My first Blog entry

So... I have no idea what I am going to blog about... but I am going to give this a try. Maybe it will just be a good excuse to show off pictures of my kids. = ) And speaking of pictures of my kids...
